Hi! I'm Nayanika. (Pronounced naw-yo-ni-ka)

I don't come from a typical family – we’re all geeky artists and designers who occasionally meet up over dinner to roast each other’s work.

I’m in my second year of studying Graphic Design at Arts University Bournemouth. I have a keen interest in branding, packaging, print and typography.

Outside of university, I dedicate my time to learning diverse languages and experimenting with vernacular typography. I’m currently learning to read and write Bangla to stay connected to my roots (my logo is one of my type experiments with Bangla).

One of my favorite projects was pitching to the design agency, Imagination, as part of a live branding brief, as I could deep-dive into developing a brand from scratch, devise the strategy and design the visual identity.

I strive to constantly keep learning new skills and honing the ones I already have. Right now, I have an eye out for summer internships. If your interest is piqued, drop me a line at nayanikasg@gmail.com.
